Life is Good

Life is goooood. The weather has been nice, the work is sweet in Memphis, and we went to the temple this week. How much better can it get? I love y'all. God loves you more.

Moroni 7:45 And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 46 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail

47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

Namaste

Last day with Sister Hall

Hey y'all, I apologize for my lack of emailing! Good news is that that
means I'm really super busy. My new area needs a lot of HARD WORK
which is soooooo gooood. I'm ready to get down to the nitty gritty
here in Tennessee. The members in the Bartlett first ward and
incredible. They are so involved and missionary minded. Also, we get
fed every night. I've started to listen to general conference talks in
the morning as I get ready. I've gone as far back as they go on the
gospel library which is 1971. Let's just say, they really threw down
back then. It's great. I love the area and the work is good. The
missionary leadership council gets to go to the temple with President
Wakolo this week!!!!!!! It's going to be wonderful. I'll try to email
more next week! Much much much love y'all, keep doing good no matter
how evil this world gets. Jesus Christ lives. I will never doubt or
question it.

P-Day with the Arlington Sisters

Hello Elvis Presley

I never thought this day would come, but here we are. I'm leaving Paragould, Arkansas after four transfers. On Thursday morning President Wakolo called me to be a sister training leader in the mission and I wasn't able to tell anyone until Saturday night when the transfer list got sent out. I read my transfer email Saturday night and found out that I'd be an STL over the Memphis North zone. Best of all, my area is Bartlett which is where the temple is. I'm pretty stoked to be going to the Tennessee side of the mission. My new companion is Sister Decker, which I'm so happy about. She trained Sister Lange, who trained me. So she's my grandma 👵🏼

Sorry I didn't email last week y'all things have been crazy busy and I have a feeling the craziness has only just begun. Paragould is on fire right now, so it's a little sad to leave. We have been teaching a couple and their three kids for a few weeks now and they are all on date to be baptized this month. When I told them I was being transferred they all said, "aww, you won't get to see us be baptized". I couldn't even be sad. They are getting baptized, which is so great. We ended up having six of our investigators come to church yesterday. It was a miracle. The work is so good, and I'm sure it will be so good in Memphis.

Lately I've been thinking about how liberating the gospel is. The more and more that I study from the Book of Mormon, the more undeniable the truth of it becomes. One of the greatest blessings of the spirit that I have felt as a missionary is clarity. For so long I wandered through this life in a dark cloud of sin and confusion. How miserable that was. Before I felt trapped and now I feel free. I testify to you that it is through our Savior Jesus Christ that we can be set free from the chains that bind us.

Much love,
Sister Bailey Addison Guthrie
